A water main break in Monroeville Saturday evening is affecting customers in multiple communities. Monroeville police said the water main break was near the 2800 block of Broadway Boulevard. Responders closed down the Broadway Boulevard at Valley Road, according to police. Police say the Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority was notified. The water authority's hotline has an automatic message stating the water main break is affecting the North Versailles, Monroeville, Turtle Creek, Wilmerding, Pitcairn and Trafford areas. No information has been provided yet as to when the water main break will be repaired.
